Yeah, I live in Los Angeles, and my boy is in San Diego... And sure, we have AIM and Skype... but in person is better, so that takes gas monies! That's where you come in!
I will make you some pretties for a small fee... Very small... For example:
For the low low price of $3 you get a LOVELY traditionally colored piece that's PERFECT for use as a LJ or FA icon!

Next up is a lovely set of Couples Icons for that special person in you life! These are only $10 for the set!

And last, but definitely not least, we have my CHRISTMAS SPECIAL! I like to call these Bundled Badges!
You can get these individually for $10 each, or a couples like this one for $15! WHAT A STEAL!
As always, should you want one, please either leave me a comment on this entry, note me here, on FA at Furaffinity.net/user/belledraco or Email me at Drakechick04 AT yahoo DOT com. That Email is also where you send the funds! And, as always, if you purchase a badge, I laminate, punch, and ship free! (icons will be digitally delivered unless specifically requested.)
Happy shopping, and Happy Holidays! (even Thanksgiving, even though everyone forgets about it nowadays...)

Hello all!
So basically, these commissions go by your budget. You tell me how much you want to pay, and I'll draw you something of your choice depending on how much you pay. For really small amounts of money, you'll get a sketch, and if you pay more you get a more complex and detailed picture. You know. It should be pretty self explanatory. XD Also you decide if you want an actual drawing or if you want a badge, but if you want a badge we will need to discuss shipping (which is extremely inexpensive anyways). :] I can do digital art and traditional, of course! If you want a traditional picture I can mail it to you and you get the option of whether you want it coloured with prismacolor markers or pencil crayons~
Another option is you just tell me what you want (drawing, ref sheet, badge, etc) and tell me how much you want to pay for it and as long as it's reasonable I'll more than likely go for it. XD So if you have something in mind, ask away!
I do have a job, yeah, but I only work twice a week (with school and all) soo I'm really not bringing much money in. And I need money ASAP if I hope to get my ass over to Anthrocon in 2010! D: I also need to buy Christmas presents for all my friends and family... sooo yeah I sort of need commissions if I ever want to get any of these things done. XD;
My waiting list is cleared as of recently so I have unlimited slots and will get the art done ASAP. :) Note me/comment if you have any questions or if you're interested!
Here's some examples (I always suck at picking them). :I To see all of my art, check out my FA at http://www.furaffinity.net/user/shnellz :)

Thanks for reading! :D <3
Today I suffered the lost of a very beloved pet, and I really just want something to get my mind off of stuff for the next few days...
So! I'm taking five slots for badges done in this style:

My scanner messed them up pretty bad, but I'm sure you get the idea. They're roughly 4x5, and will be stylized/shaped to whatever fits well with your character. I have tons of scrapbook paper to use as backgrounds, so I can find something that works well for just about anyone. $10 each + $3 shipping To order: comment here with reference. I will confirm and add your name to my list, and at that time have you send payment. Badges will be completed in the next day or two. Thanks for looking!

Me again!
I'm reopening icon commissions, though I'm only going to take a few since I'm still hacking my way through Nanowrimo.
I'm going to start these off at $6.50 paypal each. You don't have to include a service fee. Please do -not- use the gift option to pay me.
You get a 100 x 100 cropped version, and a bigger version that will be somewhere between 200 x 200 and 400 x 400px. I haven't been paying attention to how big the original doodles are and would prefer to not have to. XD
I'm not currently doing combined icons, sorry. Those are just there for examples. I'd like to practice first and see what kinds of things I can do without having to crop chunks of the face off.
Backgrounds are simple.

Example of bigger sizes: Example 1 , Example 2 , Example 3
Paypal: CarolyneReigne@aol.com (Wait until AFTER I reply to send payment)
Please comment here with your refs to grab a spot. Will start after payment is received. Feel free to specify an expression/background color!
Slots: (Only taking five for now, may come back later to do more). Lets do one slot per person for now. 1. Fallfree (Paid) 2. Ribbeh (Paid) 3. casteddreams (Paid) 4. orangedragoness (paid) 5. Skyote (Paid)
Anyone have any experience with these pet clippers? www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do Good, bad? Im looking for some cheap starter clippers and something that can serve double duty for my dog lol

Aside from wanting to show what Ive been up to, I thought this might be a helpful visual to folks trying to figure out how to do patterns for heads useing the ductape method : )
The mask itself is use-your-own-eyes style, and made from a latex base, wich includes the beak, so its all very light weight. Jawmovement is very nice since the corner of the mouth bends naturally. Beak is coated with plastidip. This build will be available for commission is the future, I think, if all goes well.
Edit: oops, forgot about the pic sizeing thing, here just click the link instead : )http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n97/Artsquish/wipbirdhead.jpg

So I'm working more on my Crux head and I'm having a hard time getting the eyes right. I was going to try to follow Matrices eye method as it's what I know best, and I'm trying to make it look as close to the Crux in SecondLife as possible. However when I did the paper eye preview thing over my foam head WIP it looked really crazy and not quite right. I know a lot of people might say well 'thats just how the Crux looks' (because well, they are kind of strange looking to most) yet it still just doesn't sit right with me, I feel like I'm not doin it right.
Looking at the Crux head Beastcub built I was hoping to get some sort of better idea on how to do mine but seeing as how she used taxidermy eyes (a completely different method altogether) it wasn't much help. And I want to include the white part of the eyes on my Crux head as well to keep with keeping it as close to the SL version as possible.
Any tips, ideas? Or am I just crazy & should I just nut up and do it?

Glee! My triceratops is starting to come together.

The horns are attached with magnets for easy storage/travel. He's almost ready to fur :D
Current mood: nerdy
has anyone bought faux fur (the luxury shag style) from www.fabric.com? if so, is it any good?
Just finished this guy the other day and had a LOT of fun with it,

Albino ferret!
( click for full suit and LOTS of pics.. )
Used the plastic mesh balls for optimal vision, since they are placed a little more on the side of the head, and concave for the 3D effect. And yes.. those dots represent the tattoos that Marshall Farms ferrets have, as requested by the commissioner!
Watch for him at MFF! :) Speaking of that.. Andy Fox will be there too.
PS: I DID NOT CHOOSE THE FUR. :P I'm afraid the fur choice throws off the speciea more than anything, but, yeah.
how would you go abouts creating an oval shaped head out of foam? preferably out of 1" foam. im kinda stumped on how to go about it...
I assumed there would be tons of info on how to make moving jaws in the memories/tags.. but there totally isn't.. unless I just can't seem to find them. Sooo, can I get some advice on ways to make a pretty precise moving jaw with a balaclava based head? Anything EXCEPT the elastic around the head method.. That's all I could find, and I've also tried that before it didn't work at all for me. Thanks!
For a upcoming convention my sister is gonna be kuei , or the earth king from avatar the last air bender. So I thought it would be great for me to be bosco , the kings pet bear. Anyways it would be super cool if I could make a quad but also make it look realistic when I walk on my hind legs. Any adivince on how to go about doing this ? should I just make it a normal fursuit since I plan on jumping around an being super silly. thanks
